The town of Pozza di Fassa, with its hamlet Pera, is located at the widest point of the valley at the confluence of the avisio with the rio san nicolò, and the town benefits from a large territorial extension in a basin dominated by the " Cima Undici and Cima Dodici ". Excursions, walks, rock, geology, monzoni, gardeccia, vajolet towers, direct contact with nature are just some of the possible activities and places to visit.

Skiing Region
In recent years, the famous Skiarea Buffaure (Ski Tour Panorama), connected with Alba Ciampac and the Sella Ronda and known to all skiers and non-skiers for the views and the tranquility of the slopes, guarantees to this beautiful resort a loyal clientele. Known and very popular is also “Aloch Piste” (on the rear of the Hotel about 200 meters) or "Fassa Valley Ski Stadium" which is illuminated for night skiing, also suitable for international alpine skiing competitions, professional training and high-level events occurring both day and night, while to cross – country skiing lovers give, apart from the Marcialonga circuit, a good opportunity with the Ciancoal cross-country trail, enjoyable for the variety of its trails and with snow always ensured, particularly attractive even at night thanks to the lighting, fun for the variety of its rhythms and the snow always ensured, particularly attractive even at night thanks to the floodlights.
Skiing... and...
Skiing routes that you can take are numerous: The Sella Ronda linking Campitello Canazei and Val Gardena, Val Badia and Arabba / Marmolada The Great War Tour which borders Veneto and Alto Adige. The Ski Tour Panorama linking Pozza di Fassa, skis with Canazei where there is the famous technique and black track return with a vertical drop of 660 meters and a maximum gradient of 46%. The Night skiing at the Ski Stadium Alloch for those who want to ski under the stars, or for those who just do not have enough (open two nights a week to the public), includes a black binding, theater also numerous international competitions, slalom, snowboard and curving, and where you often find the most quoted for training national teams in alpine skiing. In addition, every Monday takes place with Torchlight ski instructors of the School of Pozza Vajolet.
